I’m beyond excited to share some incredible news: Watch to 5K has been nominated by Apple for Apple Watch App of the Year in the 2024 App Store Awards!
This is a huge honour, and I’m absolutely thrilled to see Watch to 5K recognised alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. As an indie developer, it’s a dream come true to have an app that started as a simple idea make such a big impact and receive this kind of recognition from Apple.
A Milestone Year
2024 has been a milestone year for Watch to 5K. The launch of the 10K expansion plan was a big step forward, and it’s been amazing to see the positive response. I’m so happy that thousands of people have taken up running with a little help from this app.

The App Store Awards celebrate apps that excel in innovation, design, and impact. To have Watch to 5K recognised by Apple as one of the finalists is truly special. It validates the hard work and passion that went into every part of this app—from the initial concept to the final product you see today.
